Good governance and peace building

This programme’s objective to make interventions towards a society that is premised on social justice, inclusion and participation of the citizenry, accountable and integrity-based representation, people oriented development, efficient and effective social services and conflict management and peaceful coexistence.

Leadership formation and mentorship

Under this programme, WOLEF will endeavor top implement holistic youth leadership development to prepare them for success in the whole scope of their lives and fostering the requisite key leadership skills to excel as leaders both in ministry and society at large.

Partnership building and Networking

This programme aims to embark on building strategic collaboration with like-minded organizations, institutions and groups to synergize strengths, tangible and intangible resources, and linkages in order to effectively address the challenges confronting society and develop practical strategies towards broader and sustainable impacts.

Social Development: economic empowerment: quality healthcare and support systems, education and youth development.

Guided by the United Nations 2030 Agenda-Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Kenya’s Vision 2030, this programme is committed to making interventions for the development of strategies and responses to address the societal challenges in the contexts of secure food systems; improved earning capacities; quality healthcare delivery system; accessible and affordable education; employment and social protection and harnessing of youth talents and skills for leadership and the digital
and virtual economy.

Environmental Conservation: Climate change

The climate crisis is affecting communities and families in unprecedented ways thereby risking the lives and livelihoods of the most vulnerable in society. This programme aims at partnering with duty bearers, communities and development actors to address the risks of climate induced degradation, risks and disasters and insecurity through participatory and community based approaches including indigenous knowledge.

Institutional Development

This programme is focussed on strengthening and improving WOLEF’s pillars and systems to make it more resourced, focussed, efficient, stable and able to achieve its foundational mandate of meeting the multidimensional needs of society.
